Gorge Road Jump Park season opening jam

Another summer has arrived with the Gorge Road Jump park now open. The beats were cranking along with the sausages crackling. The crowds rolled in with beers in hand for the park jam.

End of last season Nathan Greenwood along with other members of the Queenstown Mountain bike club have put a huge effort and added a heap to the big line. Surely we've got enough jumps already?? Na never's enough haha. If you haven't seen the extension go have a ride.

Winds set in after a few hours but the boys still gruelled through it.

Just a note to the groms that are very keen, if it's wet and a chains up don't use the park. Its up for a reason. The boys have put heaps of effort into the jumps and want to keep them in prime condition.
